OK I?m going to do a little something different than usual in today?s Saturday Swipe?
Rather than you give you a specific swipe you can use I want to give you 3 principles to follow with EVERY SINGLE email communication that you send to leads AND clients.
If you use these principles I GUARANTEE you?ll get more response from ALL your emails.
Principle #1: Keep it short, sweet & conversational. Like something you?d send to a friend.
Principle #2: Convey a benefit or potential benefit to the recipient.
Principle #3: Make sure there is an expectation of response.
Let?s look at an example in action. Below is an email you can (SHOULD) send to FSBOs:
Subject: Your Home For Sale on Craigslist Body: I was wondering if I brought you a buyer, would you be willing to pay a commission? Thanks, Insert Your Name
(Hot Dang I guess you still got a swipe to use now didn?t you?!?)
NOTICE: This is very short. It conveys a potential benefit ? bringing them a buyer. AND there?s a expectation of response whether it be yes or no?
Too many real estate pros send long winded, feature based and confusing emails (not you of course because you read the Saturday Swipe series
So before you hit send on any email ask yourself: is it short and sweet, is there a benefit and is there an expectation of response?
